Christine Poulson

Christine Poulson

This painting depicts the story of women digging for honey ants. There are several groups of women (“u” shapes) sitting around the honey ant holes (concentric dotted circles) with their digging sticks and bowls for collecting the ants. The dotted lines connecting several dotted concentric circles in the centre of the painting represent the ants’ tunnels in the ground. The painting is beautifully crafted and features a warm, traditional and earthy colour regimen.

The colours are stunning as is the neat and tidy dot work.

Christine has signed the artwork verso. A photo with Christine holding the painting will be provided with the top artwork. Please note these paintings do not come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
